With election of new Co-chairmanship, Yezidi Union of Afrin concludes its fourth conference

The fourth congress of the Yezidi Union of Afrin Canton, titled “Strengthening our organization will be a response to the genocide of Şingal and the occupation of Afrin,” concluded with the election of Aisha Seydou and Hussein Hassan as co-chairmen of the union, and the election of representatives of the committees in the union.

AL-SHAHBA

Member of the Yezidis Union in Afrin, Erwivan Manan, read the report of the union's work during the past four years in Afrin and after the displacement in al-Shahba, and then opened the door to discuss the report.

After that, Mustafa Nebo, the co-chair of the Afrin Yazidi Union, read the internal system and then opened the door for discussion.

Then the door was opened for to elect 13 members to represent the joint presidency and the committees of the Yazidis Union in the Afrin region.

After the elections, Aisha Seydou and Hussein Hassan were elected as co-chairs of the Union of Yezidis of Afrin region and 11 members to represent the committees in the union.

The conference ended with the audience chanting slogans that revive the resistance of the age and the resistance of Şingal.
