​​​​​​​Kobani go out in demonstration in memory of martyrs of Şengal, denouncing the Turkish crimes against Kurds

Thousands of people participated in the demonstration organized by Kongra Star in the Euphrates region, in remembrance of the massacre of Yazidis in Şingal, Başûr Kurdistan in 2014.

The administrator in Kongra Star in the Euphrates region gave a speech in which she said: “I mourn the Kurdish and the Yazidi. Today is a painful day in the history of the Yazidi people, as they were exposed to the most heinous massacres at the hands of ISIS, which was implementing Turkish plans.”

She added: "Yesterday, Şengal, and today in Konya, history is repeating itself, and a new massacre is committed against a Kurdish family, where 7 killed, and in Kobani, civilian cars are bombed on the roads, and this is evidence that the Turkish occupation state has gone crazy towards the Kurds everywhere."

As for the member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, Ahmed Sheikho, he said that "the wound in the side of Şingal and its people is a deep wound in human history, as they were slaughtered by dark bats, and thousands of women were enslaved. This indicates a modern conspiracy against the Kurds and the Yazidis."

Sheikho added: "If we think about the date of the start of the Rojava revolution, we will know who is the defender of this people and who conspired with the enemies of humanity, and the victory that was achieved in Kobani over ISIS mercenaries was paid for by the cities of Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain, and Girê Spî / Tal Abyad Where all world countries remained silent about the crimes committed by the occupying power, and this gives them an incentive to commit massacres, and we do not depend on anyone, for our martyrs are our path, and we will win no matter how long it takes.”

The demonstration ended with chants calling for holding the Turkish occupation state accountable for the crimes in the region.
