KNK: Rojava Revolution reflects all region's components

Kurdistan National Congress issued a statement on the ninth annual anniversary of the July 19 Revolution:

'' the July 19 Revolution was first materialized in Kobane and made the city liberated and after that of Derik and Afrin this revolution was made intense and spread to the rest of Rojava.  

A more crushing victory was attained via defeating the reactionary and barbaric terrorist ISIS organization that controlled then half of the Syrian soil and established a strong statelet in the region with a strong military might that received defeat at the hands of the Freedom Movement of Kurdistan.

Sacrifices made by both Peoples' Protection Units and Women Protections Units were also hailed and paid tribute in the statement.

Owing to the revolution, Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Armenians and Chechens in addition to Muslims, Christians, Yazidis and Alawites all live together in peace and security based on equality.

On this occasion, we express our congratulations to freedom seeking fighters and we recall all martyrs of Kurdistan to whom we bow in deference and respect.
