"Future Speaks" initiative aims to expose occupation's policies

One of the most important goals of the "Future Speaks" initiative launched by Rojava University students is to document and expose the Turkish occupation's crimes and policies.

On the 25th of last May, Rojava University students launched an initiative under the slogan "Future Speaks", through a statement.

About this campaign, its goals and plans, Hawar news agency held an interview with the initiative's Member Mustafa Hussein.

Hussein explained that the Turkish state occupied areas in north and east Syria, and committed crimes against humanity there. He said, "Because of these crimes and policies, there are dangers that threaten our future."

Mustafa Hussein continued his speech by saying, "Through our initiative, we are working to block the road to the occupation, in addition to working to convey our voice and position to students all over the world."

He added, "We have communication and relations with universities, and our goal now is to expand our relations outside Rojava, especially in other parts of Kurdistan and the world, and for this we will communicate with students."

He said, "We will do everything possible to expose the Turkish occupation's policies and crimes."

Mustafa Hussein indicated that they are communicating with Kobane University as a first step, with the aim of including them in the initiative.

At the end of his speech, Mustafa Hussein indicated that women in the occupied territories are subjected to harassment and rape, and concluded by saying, "Exposing these crimes against women is among our initiative's goals."
