'Recognition of AANES'

PYD administrator in Shaddadi District, pointed out that the time had come for the international community to formally recognize and support this administration, which had been founded by the will of the region's components, as it had made real gains within a short period of time.

Mahdi Al-Deghaim noted that AANES had provided much to the people at various levels, primarily economic and health, through civil society institutions run by the people themselves.

He added they bear great burdens that great powers have been unable to bear by containing several camps on their territory.

He concluded his speech, stressing the need to expedite the recognition of the Autonomous Administration as an official administration in north and east Syria, with the possibility of opening official embassies of friendly countries on its territory.
