Firas Qassas: solution does not consider model of Autonomous Administration as backbone is not reliable

Since its establishment in 2014, the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria has managed to be an alternative to the chaos that resulted from Syrian revolution derailing as a result of exploitating it by regional and international parties.

It was able to create an atmosphere of security and safety in its regions compared to the areas under the control of Turkish mercenaries and the government of Damascus, and provided it with living requirements of all kinds despite the military, political and economic attacks it is constantly exposed to by Turkey and its mercenaries, the government of Damascus and its loyalists.

Despite the successes achieved by the Autonomous Administration, the lack of political recognition is an obstacle to solving urgent problems and unresolved issues, including the presence of thousands of ISIS mercenaries and their families, in addition to the presence of camps housing thousands of Syrians, and others.

'Viable solutions'

About this, the head of the Syrian Modernity and Democracy Party, Firas Kassas, said: “The Syrian crisis cannot be resolved without the Autonomous Administration. Syria is structural and intractable, not only in times of crisis, but also in a natural environment. "

Kassas added in a statement to our agency: “The responses and solutions provided by the Autonomous Administration to the Syrian reality issues in their various dimensions make it a major focus in defining the solution and its consecration in the country, its consecration and embodiment in a comprehensive manner, affecting the state and power structures and patterns of economic and societal interaction, in addition to crystallizing regional and international positions in a productive and fruitful way .. For all of the above, I can say without caution that a Syrian solution does not consider the reality and model of the administration as a backbone in its structure, it is unreliable and will never pass.

'There is no solution in Syria without the Autonomous Administration'

On resolving the outstanding issues, especially the issue of ISIS mercenaries and the Turkish occupation and others, Kassas affirmed that it is not possible to solve the file of mercenaries and attacks against the regions of North and Northeastern Syria without taking into account the role that the Democratic Autonomous Administration plays in all areas, hard and soft. Disciplined and heroic performance that it accomplished was surprising in a place that earned it the respect of the whole world, and nothing less than this performance was the role of the administration in establishing the building blocks of enlightenment, democratization and gender justice that collectively constitute the cultural cognitive structure that defeats extremism and ISIS terrorism and uproots it from its roots.

On the importance of the Autonomous Administration to solve the Syrian crisis, Kassas said: “There are no possible prospects for crystallizing a solution that Syria needs without the Autonomous Administration. The issues related to the Syrian reality are already intertwined, and I would add that they are proliferating and are constantly increasing in complexity, and crises and issues when they are of such complexity cannot be solved without appropriate methodical approaches.

'Our existence and lack thereof is linked to the Autonomous Administration.'

He pointed out that "the importance of the Autonomous Administration project is based on solving the outstanding issues on the political, social, economic, military, environmental and health levels, and very rarely does a project provide comprehensive solutions for all these levels that define our existence in the way that happens with the Democratic Autonomous Administration project. Therefore, the success of our existence depends on the success of the project and our existence threatens with its failure and decline. This is what I believe in without exaggeration or embellishment. "
