Analyst: Turkey is centerpiece in ME's crises

Joli added, "What the Kurdistan Workers' Party and the People and Women Protection Units did to support Şengal people was a humanitarian move, the world bears witness to that. These forces liberated the Yazidi people who realized the importance of establishing their own self-administration and their special forces to protect themselves from other genocides."

The responsibility of protecting Şengal rests with the Hewlêr government

He explained that the Kurdistan Workers' Party and the People's Protection Units and Women’s played a leading role in supporting the Şengal Protection Forces and self-administration, but this step did not satisfy some parties in Iraq and Başûr Kurdistan. On the one hand, the Turkish state was not satisfied because it contravened its policy and personal interests. It believes that Şengal is part of Başûr's sovereignty.

Turkey targets the democratic project in the Middle East
