The Damascus government tightened the siege imposed on al-Shahba canton, which contains tens of thousands of Afrin's displaced, in a move that the displaced considered an attempt by the Damascus government to create a rift between the administration of al-Shahba and the people. Abeer Hassaf, the Administrative Member of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan National Congress  Rojava (KNK) said that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) military build-up in the legitimate defense zones will be a grave risk toward the Kurdish people. Political analyst, Walid Joli pointed out that the Autonomous Administration in Şengal is a guarantee for Yazidis' future in Şengal following the massacres they were subjected to, and that the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) should not be dragged into Turkey's fabricated plots, as it is responsible for Yazidis, and that Turkey is centerpiece of crises in the Middle East. The youth of the political parties in the city of Aleppo indicated that the capitalist countries, led by Turkey, are waging a special war policy against the young group with the aim of controlling them intellectually and culturally as they are the backbone of society, stressing the need to conduct awareness campaigns, fight a mental revolution and attract the young group to guide them to the right path.
