And added: "The leadership of the movement is following with great concern the infection of dozens of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation prisons with the coronavirus, which threatens their health and exacerbates their suffering inside the prisons of the occupation."

The movement held the international community and all human rights institutions the same responsibility, and said, "Unless everyone takes the initiative to remedy the situation and provide the prisoners with the necessary medical, health and humanitarian care, the consequences will be difficult at various levels."

While the jihad movement warned of the danger of the situation, and said, "We will not tolerate any danger threatening the lives of our heroic prisoners, and work to defend them and secure their freedom will remain at the top of our national priorities." Other factions warned, in separate statements, of the consequences of "Israeli procrastination and deliberate neglect of the health and the lives of the prisoners. "
