Escalation in Idlib

Syrian government forces targeted with more than 120 rocket –propelled grenades and artillery shells different areas in Idlib, that cost the lives of 7 people, 4 of whom were children, and injured more than 20 others, some in critical conditions, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. 

Government forces had escalated it's bombardment on Ariha, and the town of Kifariya, and areas in Ihsem, Mar'iyan, Nahlaya, Balshon, Deir Sunbul and Al-Fatira in the southern countryside of Idlib.

Today morning, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of 4 civilians including a female child, in an intense rocket shelling by the government forces on the city of Ariha, in southern Idlib, and launched, today morning, more than 45 rocket shells, that led to killings and injuries.  

In a related context, areas in Al-Fatira, in southern Idlib, Kifariy, Fu'ah, and outskirts of the Mia'rat Misrin in eastern Idlib, in addition to the city of Idlib and it's outskirts were shelled by government forces, with no available information on human losses.
