Tunisia declares its rejection of Libya division, foreign interference

Tunisian President Qais Saeed affirmed his country's rejection of the division of Libya, pointing out that it is the duty of the Libyans to undertake by themselves the search for solutions to the current crisis, away from external interference.

An official statement quoted the Tunisian president as saying that the more foreign interfering in the Libyan file, the more complex the situation would be.

Saeed’s comments came when he received French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in the Tunisian capital.

The statement added that the President Saeed reiterated his country's categorical rejection of any attempt to divide Libya.
