Al-Sumaria News said that smoke rose from the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the center of the capital, Baghdad, after demonstrators stormed it on Saturday morning.

This comes in response to the statements of party member Hoshyar Zebari, during which he attacked the Popular Mobilization Forces.

Two days ago, Zebari demanded, during an interview on Al-Hurra, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi to the elimination PMF in Iraq.

He said that the Iraqi government has an opportunity to avoid the consequences of America’s implementation of its decision to withdraw from Iraq, explaining that "the tasks of the Iraqi government are to clean the Green Zone from the presence of the militia, and to secure the Green Zone road to the airport and change the leadership of the Popular Mobilization Forces."
