Russia expresses concern over Turkey's transfer of mercenaries to Karabakh

Russia has expressed its concern about the transfer of mercenaries from the Middle East to Artsakh / Karabakh, in reference to Turkey sending Syrian mercenaries there.

The Russian Ministry of Defense expressed its concern about the transfer of mercenaries to Karabakh, and said in a statement: "The Russian Ministry of Defense is particularly concerned about the information received regarding the transfer of fighters from terrorist organizations from the Middle East to the conflict zone in Nagorny Karabakh."

According to the ministry's statement, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu expressed this concern to Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

On Monday, a video clip shared by activists on social media showed a number of Turkish mercenaries, wearing the military uniform of the Azerbaijani army, raising the gray wolves sign of the Turkish far-right, and speaking Arabic.

Earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that (107) mercenaries were killed in Artsakh / Karabakh.
