Document of the Iraqi Interior Ministry reveals plans to target security companies in Iraq

The document addressed to all Iraqi and foreign security companies, appended to the signature of the Director of the Directorate of Private Security Companies Affairs, Brigadier General Fares Nazim, stated that there is intelligence information received about the targeting of security companies and logistical support contracting with the American side, and the information includes the locations of the companies, their address and the nationalities working in them with the nature of their work .

The document called for "caution against targeting the headquarters of these companies or their employees."

This warning came after the threats made by forces close to Iran in earlier times to target American bases and interests in the country, in revenge for the killing of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

Military bases and airports where the forces of the International Coalition are present are subjected to frequent bombing, the last of which was yesterday evening, when a column of trucks carrying equipment for the International Coalition Forces was targeted with an explosive device north of Baghdad.
