​​​​​​​Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of Aleppo demonstrates in solidarity with Haftanin resistance

The demonstrators gathered in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, waving the flags of the Democratic Society Movement, pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and banners reading “The Resistance of will triumph and betrayal will to fall and Turkish fascism,” chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Haftanin.

The demonstration took place in the streets of the neighborhood, reaching Al-Istiqama Park, where the demonstrators stood for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, followed by two speeches by the head of AL-Ashrafieh neighborhood council, Ahmed Jaafar, and the administrator at the Kongra Star in the neighborhood, Hanaa Kerdoush.

She denounced the fascist state’s attacks on Haftanin, and affirmed that Haftanin is a symbol of resistance that taught the tyrant the harshest lessons, through will and sacrifice for the sake of the Kurdish cause.

She indicated that the fighters who are resisting in Haftanin in the face of the Turkish fascist attacks have graduated from the school of Ocalan.

She also confirmed their support for this historic resistance because this war will prove the existence of the Kurds in Kurdistan.

Then the demonstration ended with chanting slogans saluting the resistance of the Popular Defense Forces in Haftanin.
