Al-Shahba demonstrates for resistance of Haftanin

The demonstrators roamed the streets of Babanis village, waving pictures of the martyrs and banners that read: "Long live the resistance of Haftanin, in the revolutionary popular war and with courage of the guerrillas, we will defeat the occupation and betrayal", chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Haftanin and denouncing the attacks of the occupiers.

The demonstrators stood for a minute of silence to pay homage to the souls of the martyrs, followed by a speech on behalf of the Education Committee of the Democratic Society in Afrin canton by Nuri Mulla Naasan, in which he praised the resistance of the People Defense Forces: “Today we see an unparalleled resistance in Haftanin by the forces of People Defense against the attacks of the Turkish occupation army, so let the Turkish occupation army learn from history that our forces do not break. Every time they attack them, they suffer heavy losses. Today, history repeats itself, and the resistance of the HPG will triumph.

Mulla Naasan indicated that they are in solidarity with the resistance of Haftanin: "We are here to resist on our side and fight for the liberation of Afrin. We are in solidarity with the resistance of Haftanin, and are certain that it will succeed in stopping the attacks of the occupier."

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans saluting the resistance of Haftanin, and denouncing the Turkish violations.
