Regarding the recent Turkish attacks on the areas of Başûr Kurdistan, and in particular the resistance shown by the Peoples' Defense Forces fighters in the “Haftanin” area, Mitanni explained: “The Popular Defense Forces are fighting and resisting in the face of Turkish aggression, and the struggle and resistance of the fighters in the Haftanin Mountains will be recorded by history on its pages.”
