Al-Tabqa notables: We stress on national unity represented by SDF and AANES

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, received this morning June 22, 2020, a delegation of clan notables.

The delegation included: Sheikh Hamed Al-Faraj, Sheikh of Al-Welda Clan, Sheikh Fawaz Al-Beik, Sheikh of Al-Sukhnah clan, Sheikh Hussein Al-Rashid, Sheikh of Al-Bukhamis clan, Sheikh Abdul-Latif Al-Faraj from the dignitaries of Al-Nasser clan, Sheikh Faisal Al-Jumu`ah from the notables of the Al-Bumsara clan, Sheikh Abdul Rahim Al-Jadou ', Sheikh of Al-Naim, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mudhahi from the dignitaries of Bakara clan, Sheikh Hamid Al-Amala, the sheikh of the Al-Wahab clan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Hawash from the notables of the Al-Ajil clan, Sheikh Aziz Al-Fayadh from the notables of the Al-Wahab clan, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Kanoo, Sheikh of Al-Kanoo clan, Sheikh Zuaiter Al-Zuaiter, Sheikh of Al-Ajil clan, Sheikh Jamal from the Civil Administration Relations Office in Al-Tabqa, Sheikh Tayseer Al-Afat, a delegate from the Sheikh of  Al-Fa'an clans and a representative of the Bedouin, Sheikh Naif Al-Dhaif, Sheikh of the Boujaber clan, and Sheikh Mahdi Al-Saleh, Sheikh of the Al-Huwairat clan.

clan notables who were received by the Commander in Chief discussed the living conditions especially after the entry the Caesar Act into force and the collapse of the exchange rate of the Syrian pound, where a number of proposals were made to support the agricultural sector and support the policy of self-reliance.

They also discussed the developments of the political situation in Syria, and emphasized the coexistence and work to reach Syria to a political solution that guarantees the rights of all components within the framework of building a democratic and decentralized political system that adopts the equitable distribution of national wealth, the principle of equal opportunities, the independence of the judiciary, and the building of a professional army that protects borders and ensures nation safety.

The notables affirmed their support for the SDF and democratic autonomous administration, and said that the clans are an integral part of the administration. They will make all their efforts to consolidate the principles and values ​​of this administration in co-existence.

The notables also expressed their condemnation of the Turkish occupation of large parts of Syria, and emphasized the struggle until the liberation of every inch of Syria and the expulsion of the Turkish invasion.

In his turn, the Commander in Chief briefed Al-Tabqa notables on the latest political and military developments in general and the northeast of Syria in particular.
