HPG: 34 Turkish occupation army soldiers killed in Heftanin

 The media center of the Popular Defense Forces, HPG issued a statement about the operations of Heftanin battle.
The statement indicated that on June 21, their forces began massive operations to confront the attacks of the Turkish occupation army in this region and directed heavy strikes against it. The statement indicated that the operations resulted in the killing of 34 soldiers and damaging two Cobra helicopters.

 Three bombing operations: several Turkish occupation army soldiers were killed and a helicopter was damaged

The statement clarified that between June 20 and 21, warplanes and helicopters of the Turkish occupation army bombed Khantur Square and that their forces targeted helicopters and hit one of them, while the others were forced to withdraw. The occupation army tried to carry out a landing operation using Scorsky helicopters, but the guerrillas fighters carried out against it 3 bombing operations that resulted in the death of many soldiers.

The guerrillas also targeted the combating units in Khantur with bombs and killed 5 soldiers, while 3 other soldiers were killed in another operation in Khantur.
The statement added that the guerrillas carried out a qualitative operation against the Turkish occupation army soldiers in the vicinity of Tel Dobakci and directed strong strikes from 3 axes that resulted in the death of 6 soldiers. While it was not possible to know the number of dead and wounded among the enemy army in the operation carried out on Tel Sipan.

Defecting Cobra helicopter

The statement also indicated that their forces carried out an operation that targeted enemy units stationed on Tell Qasrok and directed close strikes. The operation resulted in killing of 6 soldiers. The statement revealed that during this operation, the combatant Mamiyan was martyred after a heroic resistance. After the operation, a Cobra helicopter tried to bomb the place, but it was targeted by fighters who managed to hit it. 3 soldiers were also killed during an operation on the martyr's hilltop, Berivan.
The guerillas also carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation army soldiers in Khantur, where they infiltrated and directed strong strikes against them that led to the death of 11 soldiers, after the operation the Turkish occupation army bombed the area and transported the wounded and the dead bodies of the Skorsky helicopters crew.

Operations in Basta, Khwakurk and Jale

Regarding the other operations carried out by the Popular Defense Forces, the forces said that on the 21st of the revolutionary campaign of the martyrs early and Ronia they carried out on June 21 an operation against the soldiers of the Turkish occupation army stationed on Lilikan hill in the Khakurk region in the legitimate defense areas, which resulted in the death of 3 soldiers.
On June 17, our fighters targeted the occupation soldiers in the vicinity of the Ossian police station in Basta region in Şîrnex, killing two soldiers, one of them was an officer.

On June 21, the forces carried out operations in Tal Sour Square in the Jale district of Colemêrg, and losses were not confirmed.

On June 21, Turkish warplanes bombed the vicinity of Tel Hakkari and Kulkan in the legitimate defense areas and the shelling did not result in any losses among the ranks of the Popular Defense Forces.
