From Vienna… Political coalition between SDC, Syrian national association

Speaking at the press conference, the head of the Syrian National Assembly, Ph.D. Amir Zaidan, and the co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riyad Dirar, spoke.

Amir Zaidan said during reading the coalition statement, "Since the announcement of its founding 5 years ago as a political organization, it emerged from the Cordoba Working Group, which had launched its national project on January 9 for seven years ago."

"It sought to work to meet the Syrian democratic forces and unify their vision of achieving the goals of the Syrian revolution in freedom and dignity, and achieving political change from the dictatorship tyranny to a democratic system on which all Syrians with all their ethnic and religious components are based on equal rights and duties on the principle of full citizenship and without discrimination."

Zaidan added, "In accordance with the principles and goals of the Syrian National Assembly and affirming its keenness on organized alliance work and the achievement of many bilateral understandings during the last stage, we announce today our full alliance with the Syrian Democratic Council SDC and we joined it to contribute our role in the Syrian national project."

In his turn, Riyad Dirar, said that any moment of openness between the Syrians in the sincere orientation towards the goals will find everyone that their path is the same.
