ISIS launches attack on government forces, latter bombed Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that ISIS mercenaries launched a new attack on the positions of the Syrian government forces in the Aleppo – Hama – al-Raqqa triangle, and that resulted in breaking out violent clashes.

The clashes focused on Athria axis, which left casualties, as at least 15 members of the Syrian government forces were killed and wounded, 6 of whom were killed according to the Syrian Observatory.

In another context, the government forces targeted with rocket-propelled grenades places in al-Rouiha, Benin, al-Futeira, Fuleifel, al-Ankawi and al-Holoubi in the southern countryside of Idlib and northwestern countryside of Hama according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In a related development, Russian aircrafts hovered over the region in conjunction with the implementation of fake raids on Jabal al-Zawiya.

Yesterday, the government forces bombed areas in Dweir al-Akrad and al-Ziyara in the northwestern countryside of Hama, and also bombed places in al-Futeira, al-Barah, and Fuleifel in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The airspace of Idlib and its countryside witnessed yesterday a continuous flight of Russian reconnaissance aircrafts.
