Libyan army destroys Turkish air defense system

The Director of the Moral Guidance Department in the General Command of the Libyan Army, Khaled Al Mahjoub, said that today, the army carried out 5 air strikes targeting the locations and gatherings of the Accord Forces in al-Washka, Abo Qerin, al-Qeddahiyya and al-Mehmiyya, and caused them heavy losses in military equipment and members, which led to their retreat backward.

For his part, a statement published by the Military Information Division stated that the army forces managed to destroy a Turkish air defense system in the vicinity of Abo Qerin area and military vehicles belonging to the Accord groups and the Turkish mercenaries in al-Sawalit area.

The statement added: “The artillery of the Accord groups and the Turkish mercenaries that bombard the homes of the safe in Jaref area was destroyed by their position in al-Qeddahiyya region, and their sites in the vicinity of al-Seddada area east of Misrata were targeted.”

The statement added that “the intensive air operations on the sites of the Accord and Turkish mercenary groups continue until this moment, coinciding with the continued arrival of reinforcements for the armed forces units, spreading and stationing in the sites assigned to them by the General Command of the Armed Forces and operations rooms.”
