Libyan army deals strong blow to Turkey's gangs

The Libyan National Army also confirmed, on Sunday Night-Monday, the success of its jets in destroying an entire artillery company that includes 3 Turkish-made Hauser guns, two tanks and 6 armed protection vehicles.

The spokesperson for the Libyan National Army, Major General Ahmed al-Mismari, addressed a registered word to the armed forces, praising what she had done during the battles that took place during the previous stage.

In his speech, Al-Mismari said that the army's mighty work, and the courage and valor it showed throughout the previous battles, makes it part of Libya's history in defending the country's sovereignty and dignity, affirming the army's victory during this stage.

Earlier, Al-Mismari pledged a strong response to Accord forces in the event of non-compliance with the Egyptian ceasefire initiative, adding that Erdogan is the one who employs "terrorists" to fight the Libyan army.

Al-Mismari confirmed that the Turkish side used all previous ceasefire initiatives to smuggle weapons and mercenaries to Libya.

He explained that the armed forces responded to attempts by mercenaries to attack the city of Sirte.

He said he was not optimistic about the ceasefire, which will come into effect on Monday, after Turkish statements and the Brotherhood in Libya.
