Power-sharing agreement in Afghanistan is a new suicide bombing
At least 5 people were killed today, Monday, in a suicide bombing targeting a security headquarters in Ghazni province, eastern Afghanistan.
Afghan officials said that a car bomb exploded at a security point in the east of the country, killing and wounding, and no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
This attack is the first of its kind after the signing of the power-sharing agreement between President Ashraf Ghani and Abdullah Abdullah, his rival in the disputed presidential elections, which ended the political stalemate in the country that was exhausted by the war on terror.
This, 8 Afghan forces were killed, and 9 others were wounded earlier in Taliban attacks on security checkpoints in Paktia province, southeast of the country, according to officials.
On Thursday, gunmen detonated a truck bomb in the capital, Paktia, killing at least five people and wounding dozens.
