"Initiatives' success to unify Kurdish rank is victory for Kurdish parties"

The co-Chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party Talal Mohammed commented on the internal initiatives in Rojava and the visits of foreign delegations to the region aimed at uniting the Kurdish ranks to ensure their participation in solving the Syrian crisis and ensuring their rights, calling on all parties to work for the success of these initiatives which will be considered "a victory for the Kurdish parties."

Since a long time, vigorous efforts have been being made by the forces and parties in north and east Syria and some external parties to unify the Kurdish ranks at this stage the region is passing through in general and Syria in particular. In this regard, several initiatives have been launched, including the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces Mazloum Abdi, which was followed by visits of international delegations to the regions and their meeting with Kurdish political parties without exception.

The co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party made clear during a meeting with Hawar news agency that the Syrian crisis has entered its tenth year, and there is no political solution, or a clear international agreement on the future of Syria. He said: "In recent times, it seems that some parties and international powers have decided the solution to end the crisis in Syria by political means because the status quo in Syria is no longer bearable, and all are forced to find a solution to it, the return of the Syrian people to their lands and the access of all the Syrian spectra to their rights, especially the Kurdish people who have a democratic political project. "

Talal Mohammed indicated that the international parties are now in the process of reuniting the Kurdish political parties in order to unify their position and political visions to participate in any political solution, meeting or conference to be held in the future to solve the Syrian crisis in accordance with International Resolution No. 2254 to solve the outstanding political problems, calling on the political movement to respond to the demands of the Kurdish people who constantly appeal to form a political reference in light of the recent political developments.

Mohammed pointed out that the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces for the unity of the Kurdish ranks is of great importance and is in the public interest of the Kurdish people. He pointed out that the Syrian Democratic Forces have contacted with a number of external parties to achieve political legitimacy for them, and he added: "All internal initiatives that support this initiative is appreciated. "

Talal Mohammed mentioned that some international delegations have visited Rojava regions recently, including a delegation from the American State Department and a French delegation. They met with all Kurdish political parties, and monitored their views and proposals regarding the initiative of the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Mohammed affirmed that during these meetings, all the political parties expressed their agreement to the necessity of uniting the Kurdish rank, avoiding the narrow personal and partisan interests. He said: "The delegations urged unity and the striving to guarantee the Kurdish people's rights and their participation in any political solution to the crisis in Syria.

Talal Mohammed touched on the content and importance of the leader Abdullah Ocalan's message about the necessity of unifying the Kurdish rank he has recently sent with his brother Mohammed Ocalan by phone on April 27, and he said: "The leader Abdullah Ocalan realizes that the conditions are right and the opportunity is historic for the Kurdish parties to take advantage of in uniting their position and ensuring their rights in the four parts of Kurdistan according to the democratic changes that will take place in the future in the Middle East."

To ensure and preserve the gains of the Kurdish people in Syria, the co-chair of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party called on the Kurdish political parties to work for the success of the initiative of the Syrian Democratic Forces' commander-in-chief and to preserve the gains made thanks to the great sacrifices. He described the success of this initiative as a "victory for the Kurdish political parties ".
