Arab coalition: Ballistic launched by Houthis on civilians in Marib

The spokesman for the coalition forces, Colonel Turki al-Maliki, stated that at 22:52 pm yesterday, the Houthis launched a ballistic missile towards the city of Marib, deliberately targeting civilians, according to the "SPA" network.

Colonel al-Maliki stated that the Houthi escalation using ballistic missiles and deliberate targeting of civilians and confirms the "militia's" refusal of all efforts and initiatives to stop the cease-fire and De-escalation, the latest of which was the initiative of the Joint Forces Command for a two-week cease-fire.

The Colonel indicated that the leadership of the coalition forces continues to implement the utmost restraint by the rules of engagement with the right of legitimate response to cases of self-defense, by taking the necessary measures to protect civilians inside Yemen from the oppression of this "terrorist militia", stressing the continued commitment of the coalition to declare a cease-fire and support efforts and endeavors of the Special Envoy for Yemen to reach a comprehensive political solution.

It is noteworthy that the Alliance for Support of Legitimacy in Yemen had announced on April 8 this year a comprehensive cease-fire in Yemen for a period of two weeks to face the consequences of the outbreak of the Corona virus.
