During the past 24 hours, the Russian health authorities recorded 24 deaths and 2,186 new cases of the newly invaded Coronavirus "Covid-19", marking the largest daily increase since the start of the pandemic in the country.

The Operations Room for fighting Corona in Russia confirmed in its daily report on Sunday that the death toll from the virus has increased since yesterday from 106 to 130 people, while the total number of infections reached 15,770 cases, and the infection spread in 82 regions of the country.

According to what Russia reported today, new infections were recorded in 52 Russian provinces, most of them (1,306) returning to the capital, Moscow, and 270 others to its province.

Since yesterday, 246 patients have recovered from the virus, and the total number of people recovered reached 1,291 people.

In China, official data released on Sunday showed that mainland China recorded 99 confirmed new cases of the virus emerging on April 11, which is more than twice the previous day, reaching its highest level in a month.

The number of cases received from abroad also set a record for the increase in one day, according to what was reported by Al-Arabiya. Shanghai announced 52 new cases on April 11, all of which are Chinese from abroad, according to the local health committee, on Sunday.

Among the new cases in Shanghai, 51 came from Russia on April 10, and the fifty-second case was a Chinese who arrived in Shanghai from a visit to Canada.

Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province also reported 21 new cases from abroad on April 11, all of which are Chinese from Russia.

It is reported that the cases of the mainland have reached 82052 cases so far, while the number of deaths is 3,339 cases.
