The regime forces made new progress in the eastern countryside of Saraqib, where they managed to take control of Islamin, Rusafa and Abu al-Khasha, in addition to the village of Tal Touqan where there is a Turkish point, while the fate of the Turkish soldiers is not yet known if they are besieged, as was done previously in other points in Idlib and Hama, this is accompanied by a violent attack by the regime forces to advance and control the town of Sarmin, according to the observatory.

The regime forces also managed to enter the administrative borders of Aleppo governorate from the eastern countryside of Idlib, and took control of Zammar, Osomaniya al-Kabira, and Jazaria, south of Aleppo.

This escalation by the regime comes after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan renewed today his threats to the Syrian regime to withdraw to the back of what is known as the Turkish control points until the end of February, threatening to launch an attack there.
