Sudanese meeting to discuss talks between al-Burhan, Netanyahu

Today, the Sudanese Council of Ministers is holding a meeting to discuss the meeting of the Transitional President of the Council, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Uganda yesterday, and Netanyahu's talk about the normalization of relations.

The Sudanese government said in a statement: It learned of the meeting with Al-Burhan and Netanyahu through the media, adding that it was not consulted about him, and is awaiting the return of al-Burhan to the country to clarify the matter.

The Israeli Prime Minister had announced via "Twitter" that he had met in the Ugandan capital Kampala with proof, and said that he had agreed with the President of the Sudanese Sovereign Council to cooperate in order to normalize relations between the two countries.

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office issued a statement saying, "It was agreed to start cooperation that would lead to the normalization of relations between the two countries," according to the Hebrew newspaper "Ha'aretz."

The statement added that "Prime Minister Netanyahu believes that Sudan is moving in a positive direction."
