Erdogan threatens Russia, regime with military forces, Moscow responds

The Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan once again threatened Russia and the regime with the use of military force if the operations in Idlib and Aleppo regions did not stop, while Moscow confirmed that the attacks launched by Turkey-backed mercenaries concern it.

Erdogan's threats came during a speech delivered on Friday in front of officials of the ruling Justice and Development Party, and said: "We will not stand by and watch the practices of bombing the civilians in Idlib and Aleppo."

Erdogan added: "We will not hesitate to do everything necessary for this, including the use of the military force if the military operations in Aleppo and Idlib countryside do not stop."

Erdogan said earlier that they informed Russia that their patience was running out regarding the continued bombing in Idlib, northern Syria, noting that Russia have not adhered to Sochi and Astana Agreements yet.

In the same context, the Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Moscow is fulfilling all its obligations under Sochi Agreement on Idlib, but the continued terrorist attacks in this region form a source of deep concern to them.
