​​​​​​​Issa: Democratic nation's project is only way to solve Syrian crisis

The year 2019 ended and a new year came, in 2020, and the mystery surrounding the fate of the Syrian crisis, which is about to complete its 9^th year, is still unknown, and the signs of a solution are far away with the multiplicity of external parties that control the fate of the country.

During the past years, it was clearly observed that the Syrian people are the only ones affected by the crisis, and the first to pay their bill.

The bleeding of the Syrian people continues, and the country's crisis is still only a card that the regional and international powers manipulate to pass their colonial projects at the expense of the Syrians who have been victim of this matter between a dead, a displaced and a wounded.

To talk more about the future of this crisis, according to signs looming on the horizon with the start of a new year, our agency (ANHA) met with the Official of Diplomatic Relations in the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, Bakr Haj Issa.

Bakr Haj Issa says: "The solution must start from the principle of co-existence and peoples' fraternity, and this can only be found in democratic nation's project proposed by the Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria."

However, he believed that Syria will not witness solutions this year or in the next few years, given that "extremist opposition and the Syrian regime tend to military options to resolve differences without proposing any political project that serves the Syrian people."

He added: "The future of Syria is not yet clear-cut. The Syrian regime and the opposition are still adhering to the mentality of individual rule, ignoring what the Syrian people went for, and what the children of Daraa wrote on the walls of words expressing freedom and democracy that both the regime and the opposition blow."

He pointed out that "the armed men and the Syrian regime in Syria have become a malignant disease that applies to the Syrian body, one through nationalist concepts and the other extremist to Islamism, and if the people are not able to overcome this disease, they will not be able to recover."

On the external interventions, Haj Issa said that "the countries that play in the Syrian issue do not look at things from the perspective of the interest of the Syrian people, but rather take into account their personal interests, and whoever wants a solution, the solution does not lie in Astana, but lies with the Syrian people."

He added, "We look at the year 2020 with fear that there is no political project aimed at a solution. The lost solutions are purely military solutions, and the latter is outside the will of the Syrian people, and this in itself leads to continued bloodshed in Syria."

Bakr Haj Issa also called on the Kurdish parties to unite their efforts and do everything possible to focus their efforts in serving the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region.

At the end of his speech, the Official of Diplomatic Relations in the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, Bakr Haj Issa, said, "It must be recalled again that the only solution to the end of the crisis in Syria is the project of the democratic nation, which has become the link between all components of the region, and preserves their rights. Those in charge of Sochi and Astana must realize that the solution must be pure Syrian and on Syrian soil. "
