Politicians and intellectuals:  Turkish occupation crimes must be documented ,presented to international forums

" The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries  are continuing to implement their policies of changing the population composition in the  occupied areas , particularly in Afrin and rest of north eastern Syria through displacement of the native residents by various means and settling strangers in their areas

A number of intellectuals and Afrin notables spoke to Hawar agency about the dangers of  the policies of the demographic change, and called for documenting these violations and presenting them to the world public.

 The member of the  intellectuals Union of Afrin Canton, Haitham Mustafa pointed out that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are practicing various forms of oppression and persecution with the aim of forcing the original population to leave their land, adding: "They practiced various kinds of violations and immoral practices of bombing, killing and kidnapping. "Torture and destruction of nature, with the aim of displacing the population and changing the demographics of the region."

Mustafa called on all peoples  documenting  the  committed violations against them in order to protect his rights and land, he  stressed on the importance of intellectuals role in this field, and stressed that they in the Union of intellectuals of Afrin will work on documenting the violations and the efforts of the demographics change through preparation of the documentaries, writing books and  stories of the people and their suffering, "to be a guide and a weapon for demanding rights in  the international forums."

The political and legal advisor of the National Democratic Alliance Party, lawyer, Alaa al-Din al-Khalid, addressed the ambitions of the Turkish occupation state in the region, he said that the Turkish state does not care about the Syrian revolution, but that it has Ottoman aims and ambitions related to the Al Muli Pact. So it started to "make pretexts for displacing  the region population and eliminating the Kurdish presence."

Khaled added:" what we saw in Afrin, Tal Abyad and Ras el-Ain was a good example for that. there are the operations of the ethnic  genocide, forced displacement, repression, physical and moral persecution and  targeting the region peoples . These policies are applied on the Kurdish people in particular, and Syrian people in general are crimes punishable by  the international law."

Al-Khalid said about the importance of statements issued by the UN organizations , "What is important for the Kurdish people is the UN and regional bodies, international law,   associations and  the international human rights organizations to work on ending war crimes against humanity and ethnic genocide. ".
