Despite the varied political affiliations, uniting the Kurdish ranks is the main demand of the people in Kurdistan, who see unity as the only way to escape from the occupation and preserve its existence.

Walid Dingli, the administrator of the Democratic Union Party in al- Shahba district, believes that the presence of occupying forces on the geography of Kurdistan has undermined unity efforts.

Dingli says, "The reasons that hindered the unification of the Kurdish row are the presence of the occupying forces on the geography of Kurdistan, and the policies of smelting and genocide practiced against the Kurdish people."

Dingli pointed out that the occupying powers of the geography of Kurdistan, has sought through several means to eliminate the Kurds.

Dingli stressed that the current stage should push the Kurds to unify their row saying, "It is necessary to unite to thwart the enemy's projects towards the Kurdish people."

Dingli stressed that "the occupying forces of Kurdistan, despite their contradictions, but they agree, when the issue is related to eliminating the aspirations of the Kurdish people."

Since October 9 of this year, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries from the Syrian National Army have launched an attack on the north and east of Syria.

"The attack on northeastern Syria aims primarily to end the Kurdish presence," said Abdul Aziz Hamdouch, a member of the Union of Intellectuals in al-Shahba District.

"The Turkish occupation seeks to re-apply the Millai pact and dominate large areas of Syria and Iraq," he said. "It had occupied Jarabulus, al-Bab, Azaz, Afrin, Serêkaniyê, and Tal Abyad/ Girê Spî

Hamdouch called on the Kurds to unite to "thwart the enemy's projects."
