Haifa Arabo: Mirabal incident is repeated in NE Syria by assassinating Hevrin

On the occasion of the International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women, the Community - Women Protection Forces organized a lecture under the slogan, "Violence Is Occupation. By Hevrin Resistance, We Will Break the Occupation and Fascism" in al-Kallassah Hall in the presence of dozens of members of Community Protection.

Haifa Arabo said at the beginning of her talk that the incident of the three sisters Mirabal was repeated in the north and east of Syria by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries by assassinating the struggler Hevrin Khalaf and targeting the mother Aqida and the fighter Amara.

"This is a global day for women to resist against all forms of injustice and exploitation," she said.

Haifa Arabo added that the woman in the revolution in northeastern Syria had presented the finest epics of heroism and redemption against the Turkish fascism and its mercenaries, and had paid a heavy price in light of the Turkish occupation army attacks on the cities of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, which had been subjected to the most heinous crimes of murder and displacement.

Arabo confirmed, “The people of northern and eastern Syria are currently exposed to political violence and the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries to their lands, amid international silence.”

Haifa Arabo pointed out, "By putting the draft of the Autonomous Administration (AA), we have been able to achieve a lot of gains. It is based on the freedom of women in the first place, as it poses the management of the people to themselves."

Haifa Arabo also said, “The Turkish occupation state is trying to occupy and kill our people as much as possible. Since 45 days, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have been killing civilians in northern and eastern Syria, occupying cities and changing the demography in northern and eastern Syria.”

Haifa Arabo stressed the need to unite all the peoples of the region to repel and defeat the Turkish aggression because the Turkish occupation primarily targeted the will of free women.
