About 1000 Turkish companies get bankruptcy settlement due to Turkish economy's deterioration

Turkish Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said that the number of companies that accepted their bankruptcy settlement applications reached 979 since Monday, December 24, 2018.

The deferred debts of the companies to the banks have reached due to bankruptcy settlement applications which many companies have resorted to in recent months about 15 billion liras.

Economists say that Turkey's economy faces the decline since the country was turned into a presidential system and the monopoly of Erdogan's regime on all economic institutions.

Recent months have witnessed the request of 3,000 bankruptcy settlement companies, including companies working with the government sector, most of whom are waiting for commercial courts to accept their request.

Turkey is experiencing a significant economic decline amid the decline of the Turkish currency against the dollar due to the wrong policy of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) to intervene in other countries' affairs, support the mercenary gangs in addition to using them as a playing card traded in neighboring countries.
