Sheikh Maqsoud notables: We are interested in responding to Turkish threats

The statements of the neighborhood's dignitaries came during the statement they issued on Saturday to the public opinion, and it was read by Omar Shami, a member of the neighborhood's notables.

The statement noted in its text:

"To the public opinion, the history of mankind is full of heroism and sacrifices. At every stage in history, humanity has suffered so much to achieve a free and fraternal life full of brotherhood and equality.

History repeats itself at the hands of some oppressors and dissenters. Such people are present in our present tampering with the lives of humanity of killing, destruction and displacement.

Erdogan, the tyrant of the age, does what he wants as if he is not interested in humanity at all. Threats after threats and abuses against the neighboring areas and he wants to robber and occupy, especially after Trump's recent statement for Erdogan to consolidate his strength and tyranny to resonate with a frequency and balance with that statement the withdrawal of US forces from Syria as if Syria has no people to defend their land.

We, as the clan's notables of the neighborhood, raise our voices from the neighborhood of resistance to all the human rights and concerned organizations to repel and stop Erdogan. We pledge that we will be together with all honorable people and strugglers on the front lines to deter any Turkish attack on the Syrian territory.
