Hundreds offer condolences to 2 martyrs' families in Girkê Legê

Hundreds of people from the areas of Girkê Legê, Çil Agha, Dêrik and Tel Koçer have headed towards the funeral tent of the martyr Saed al-Ayed fighter within the Self–Defense Forces and the martyr Ibrahim Abas, the nom de guerre is Khalid Yousefia within the ranks of the People Protection Units (YPG) who were martyred in the battle to defeat terrorism in Deir ez-Zor.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence. Then, several speeches were delivered by the commander of the People Protection Units Çiya Dêrik, "Through this noble crowd, we pay tribute to all the martyrs of freedom who have sacrificed their lives in order to meet the appeal of our people and to reach the freedom."

The administrator in Tel Koçer council Mahmoud al-Sadi said, "Greets to the pure souls of the martyrs and we are greeting our forces fighting on the battlefields to defeat terrorism from our holy land and as resistance requires us, we will follow their path with strong will."

The administrator in Kongra Star Nesrin Mohammed recalled all the martyrs of freedom and said that martyrdom is the highest level of humanity that can be reached. She continued, "Every day, we have to increase the pace of the struggle, and these days, we are subjected to attacks by the brutal enemy that is was not enough for it to launch attacks on Afrin."

The consolation ceremony ended with the reading of the certificates of the two martyrs and their delivery to their families.
