'Erdogan exploited quartet summit coinciding with IS elimination, launched attacks'

TEV DEM in Aleppo city issued a statement to the public opinion in which it demanded  the organizations and the international community to stand up to the aggression of the Turkish aggression led by Erdogan in Kobanî and Girê Spî villages.

The statement was read in front of TEV-DEM center by the member Sakina Jarkas.

The statement included:

"We denounce and condemn the aggressive attacks by the Turkish occupation on the areas of northern and eastern Syria, especially on the areas of Kobanî, Manbij and Girê Spî through armed factions supported by Turkey targeting civilians’ homes to destabilize security and stability in the region.

The attacks and practices of the Turkish occupier come amidst unethical silence of the world and media about the deliberate killing of civilians, the last of which was the targeting of Turkish soldiers to the 6-year-old girl and the targeting of journalists Gulistan Mohammad and Ibrahim Ahmed while covering the events.

Erdogan took advantage of the recent quartet summit in Istanbul, which brought together Russia, Germany, France and Turkey to discuss the Syrian situation in the absence of Syria from the summit, especially after the end of the elimination of IS in Deir ez-Zor countryside, where blackness began to fade, and the sun of freedom and democracy was emerging, and the role of the leader of terrorism Erdogan comes here to revive and spread this terrorism in Syria, increasing his support, both openly and publicly through the attacks on the stable areas in the north and east of Syria.

The policy of spreading chaos and the creation of crises and the administrate them that Turkey has pursued in Syria has only brought the Syrians the menace, tragedy, killing, destruction, and then more drowning in the Syrian blood quagmire. On the contrary, the AKP, led by the biggest terrorist, continues to support the jihadists, and Jabhat al-Nasra, and open its borders in front of them to work on the implementation of their agenda and interests, which met with the terrorist interests and mental Turkish fascist, and seeks all forms of terrorism to end any democratic project towards the safety and future of Syria.

Finally, we, on behalf of TEV-DEM, call on the UN Security Council, particularly the International Coalition, the Syrian government, all organizations, the international community and the democratic parties not to stand idly by the violations committed by the terrorist Erdogan and his followers to the north and east of Syria and its components and shoulder their responsibilities and work to end the Turkish occupation in Syrian lands.
