Green Party: Turkish aggression supports terrorist organizations

The Council of the Kurdistan Green Party pointed out that the Turkish aggression against North Syria aims to support the terrorism, and called on the International Alliance Forces to stop the threats of the Turkish occupation which is a flagrant violation of international conventions.

The Kurdistan Green Party Council called on the people and the armed forces to be ready to deter any other Turkish aggression on Rojava and the northeast of Syria by saying, "We are on the path of resistance and revolution until achieving victory."

The statement issued by the Kurdistan Green Party to the public opinion in condemnation of the attacks of the Turkish occupation on Kobanî and Girê Spî included the following,

"As the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) advanced in the fight against the terrorist gangs, and particularly IS organization, the Turkish state attacked the positions of SDF. It targeted the Syrian Democratic Forces when it started operations against the capital of IS in 2017.

It also supported the terrorist gangs in the attack on Afrin at the beginning of 2018, but it, the Turkish state, has attacked this safe spot which was the shelter to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons. According to reports of human rights organizations, Afrin has become a hotbed of terrorist organizations allied with Turkey and that cooperate with Turkey in the genocide and demographic change operations in Afrin.

We remind the free world of the actions of the Turkish state, which is not oblivious to its actions. We say that the actions of the Turkish state do not serve the objectives of defeating IS or bringing the stability to Syria, but on the contrary, they support these terrorist organizations.

Therefore, we call on the International Alliance Forces, especially America and France, to stop the threats of the Turkish state on the Syrian territory, which is an explicit violation of the international conventions in the attack on a neighboring country and occupying its territory.

We also condemn, in the strongest terms, the attacks launched by the Turkish state on Kobanî and Girê Spî

We also call on our citizens and our armed forces to be ready to deter any further Turkish aggression on Rojava and North and East Syria, and that we are on the path of resistance and revolution until victory is achieved.
