HPG carried out operation against Turkish occupation in Celê area

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) published a statement on the operation carried out by the Guerilla fighters against the Turkish occupation army in Celê district. The center said that a special unit of the Turkish army launched a military campaign in Alki area.

The text of the statement is:

On October 15, at 16:00 hours, an operation was carried out against Kordina hill in Celê district of Colemêrg. During the operation, HPG fighters fired direct hits on the soldiers of the Turkish army. The number of wounded was not confirmed in the ranks of the occupation army, after the end of the operation, the occupation bombed the area with the missiles and mortar, then clashes broke out in the surrounding forests.

On October 11, at 11:30 hours, the Turkish occupation army and with the participation of its special units launched an offensive in Celê Resh, Furat Beyas and Tarshin, in the area of ​​Farashin, and the attack continues

The Turkish aircraft bombed the areas of legitimate defense.

On 15 October at 14:30 hours warplanes bombarded Sîdkan area of Zap.

Today, at approximately 3.00 pm, the Turkish occupation forces shelled the areas of Farashin, Mervasun, belonging to Avaşîn and the vicinity of Falah village. During the shelling of the occupation, no one of our comrades was hurt.
