Number of Turkish troops killed in clashes with HPG

HPG media center issued a statement revealing the outcome of clashes broke out between their forces and the Turkish army forces in the areas of Bakur Kurdistan.

According to the statement, the clashes broke out between HPG fighters and the Turkish army on September 16 after the Turkish army launched a military operation in the vicinity of the Martyr Mizgîn Shrine in Bedlîs, where the fighters targeted a helicopter that was trying to land the soldiers, killing three Turkish soldiers and wounding 4 others. HPG also announced the martyrdom of the fighter Shahan during the clashes.

The fighters also were engaged in clashes with the Turkish army forces in Makajor valley of Jakalayan in Erzînjan without knowing the number of the Turkish army’s killed.

In its statement, HPG confirmed that the fighter Ruhat (Saeed Ilmin) was captured by the Turkish army in Kozluk district in Ileh on September 15 while he was performing his duties.

According to the statement, the Turkish army forces bombed on September 17 and 18 scattered points in the defensive areas of Medya.
