HPG targeted Turkish hidden positions

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement to the public opinion about the operations carried out by their forces, the statement included,

"On August 26 at 12.00, our forces carried out an operation against the sites where the Turkish occupation army fortified in in Celê district of ​​Colemêrg, and during the operation, our troops inflicted painful blows to the positions of the occupation, while the number of killed and wounded of the enemy was not unknown.

On 25 August at 23:30, HPG's fighters targeted hidden units of the Turkish occupation army near Kanîreşê district of Çewlîg and the operation resulted in killing 5 soldiers and wounding 3 others.

After the operation, they enemy’s reinforcements were sent to the area and strong clashes erupted between the enemy and our fighters. During the clashes, 2 of our comrades promoted to the rank of martyrdom after they have made courageous efforts to fight the enemy, while the information and details of this operation will be revealed to the public opinion later.

Since a week, the Turkish occupation army has been bombarding Basta area of ​​Celê in Şernax, and fire broke out in the area’s forests.
