HPG’s operations in Başûr, Bakur Kurdistan

The media center of HPG revealed in a statement the outcome of several military operations carried out by the forces in the areas of Başûr and Bakur Kurdistan.

The text of the statement included,

"As part of the revolutionary campaign of the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî against the Turkish occupation army and on August 24 at 12 o'clock, our forces carried out an operation in Barzani area of Başûr Kurdistan on the Martyr Munzer hill, but the outcome of the killed and wounded has not been clear yet.

On August 25 at 14:30, our forces carried out a sniper operation in the area of Bradost in Başûr against an enemy unit. During the operation, two enemy soldiers were wounded.

One Soldier killed in Şemzînan

The Free Women Units carried out at 18:00 on Lilak hill in Şemzînan district in Colemêrg an operation, during which the enemy’s fortifications were targeted. According to what has been confirmed, one of the enemy soldiers was killed during the operation.

In the context of the revolutionary campaign of the Martyr Delal Amed and the Martyrs of Besta, our forces carried out on August 24 at 17:20 in the area of Kato Marino in Eleki district in Şernax an operation against the occupation army and targeted the fortifications of the enemy, but the number of killed and wounded was not confirmed.

An Operation in Amed

On August 25, at 08:00, the forces carried out an operation against the electricity network in an area between Hedik and Sirki villages of Leji district of Amed, and significant financial damage was inflicted to the line.

Bombardment with aircrafts on Wan

On August 21at 22:20, the Turkish occupation army shelled the village of Liski in Albaki in Wan. After the shelling, the Turkish occupation forces launched a combing operation in the area, and our troops were not harmed, but who called Andok (Naim Turkuz) handed himself over to the enemy.
