Torchlight march organized in Tirbê Spîyê

Rojava Youth Union organized a torchlight march to denounce the Turkish attacks on Şengal district in Iraq which took place under the silence of Baghdad government and the Kurdistan Region. The march started in front of the Youth Center in the western of the district, passing through the central market amid chanting the slogans that salute Şengal resistance and denounce the attacks of the Turkish state. The march ended in the east of the district, and there, Rojava Youth Union issued a statement read by the member of the Union Berivan Selo. The statement said,

“We, as Rojava Youth Union and the students of the leader Ocalan, declare at this moment our readiness to confront all the Turkish state’s attacks on Şengal and pledge our people, our leader and the martyr Mam Zeki Şengali that we are on their way to achieve freedom. And the attacks launched on the Şengal district are a continuation of IS attacks on Şengal and the areas of North Syria."

The statement ended with chanting the slogans that salute Şengal resistance.
