The Middle East and North Africa Youth Conference, held in Beirut on June 8th and 9th, focused on the topic "youth and building a free future." The event saw the participation of 23 youth movements and organizations, including representatives from the NE Syria region. The conference concluded with several key resolutions, notably the formation of a coordinating committee.

The statement was read at the Raqqa Municipal Stadium in the city center by Amina Barkal, member of the Women's Office within the Youth and Sports Body. The event was attended by the members and co-chair of the body.

The statement congratulated the conference's convening, describing it as a noble initiative led by the youth of the Middle East and North Africa. It was seen as a victory for youth over authoritarian regimes and a response to the current challenges facing the region, highlighting the crucial role of youth in addressing these issues.

The statement emphasized that the conference represents the interests of the youth in the region. It declared that the outcomes of the conference would be regarded as directives and that the body  would immediately begin to implement them. This includes intensifying the youth's struggle in NE Syria across various fronts, starting with advocating for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and advancing the project of a democratic nation.
