Hejin people appealed to SDF to free them from IS

The people of Hejin town occupied by IS mercenaries appealed to the Syrian Democratic Forces’ (SDF)command to liberate their town from IS mercenaries, and they pointed out that they are subjected to immoral practices by IS mercenaries and stressed that they are ready to participate in liberating the town.

The people of Hejin town on the Euphrates River belonging to Deir ez-Zor sent a written letter to the command of SDF. ANHA agency obtained a copy of it as they demanded to be liberated from IS oppression.

The letter said, "We, the people of Hejin town, rely on ourselves and do not need one, there are very few of the people of the town who were deceived and joined IS."

The people of Hejin town noted that after the defeat of IS mercenaries in al-Raqqa battle, they increased their attacks on the people of the town because of the arrival of strange elements to this town, and they carried out acts of immorality against them even inside mosques.

The letter added, "We are all ready to participate in the liberation of the town, and everyone who says that Hejin people are strongly joined in the ranks of IS, these slanders are not true and we are ready to face these slanders."

The residents made clear through the letter the harassment that the people are exposed to in the town, and they pointed to their need for rapid medical, service and educational centers.

The letter added, "There are people from the area who want to attack us because we are a peaceful people and we do not want to be dragged behind the problems."

The letter noted, "We demand SDF to speed up the liberation of Hejin for us to be returned to our homes with pride because we know that after our return, we will see peace and stability in Hejin."
