Technical photography training started in al-Shahba

After the people of Afrin forcibly emigrated due to the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, they took from al-Shahba a starting point to continue the Resistance of the Age and all institutions and bodies reorganized their work within the camps and villages, including the Culture and Art Body which is considered one of the most important bodies as it shows the culture of the people and how they are attached to that culture which extended from the deep history.

The Culture and Art Body organized a training session for 25 members on Sunday to provide ideological and technical lessons for technical photography and the basics and history of the cinema in order to create characters capable of showing the reality of the struggling people via the cinema.

On the first day of the course, the co-chair of the Constituent Council of North Syria Federation Hadia Yusuf attended and gave a speech after the audience held a minute of silence, "We congratulate this course which began on behalf of the struggler Rohinda who put her own print on the Resistance of the Age and was able to show the truth, the suffering of the people in Afrin and the brutality of fascist enemy via her camera."

Hadia Yusuf, "All the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Afrin were not only for the purpose of conquering the geographical area of ​​Afrin, but their main aim was to erase the identity of the people living in Afrin and to erase the culture of their ancestors and break their will, but our people did not allow this and remained clinging to their culture even after their displacement towards the camps of al-Shahba canton."

In her speech, Hadia Yusuf spoke about the importance of culture in the societies and that culture is considered in every society as a mirror and the society is known of it and its people are aware of this fact. On this basis, the people are related to their culture and also to the thought and philosophy of the leader.

ANHA agency met with the administrator of the cinema section of the Culture and Art Body of Afrin canton Berivan Dodag and she said, "We started a training course for 25 members on behalf of the Martyr Rohinda in Serdem camp that will include lessons in visual photography, basics of the cinema and a brief about its history and some ideological lessons.”

"The course will last for one month as three lessons will be delivered a week for five hours including theoretical and practical lessons at the theater tent in Serdem camp," Dodag said.

Dodag assured, “Their aim of this course is to prove to the whole world that they continue their culture anywhere and anytime, and that they are able to create life in the most difficult circumstances and even in the camps. We will make of the cinema a way to show the truth, and we will introduce the whole world to our culture."
