K. Star condemns child's murder in N. Kurdistan
Kongra Star Council stated that the brutality inflicted on the body of the child Narin Koran in N. Kurdistan is an assault on human values and dignity, as well as an attack on the body of women and society. They called for a firm stance against this crime.
The statement mentioned: "Although 20 days have passed since the incident, the state has provided no information about the killers and is trying to cover up the crime. The fascist Turkish state wants to delay and hide the killers."
In its statement, Kongra Star called: "The Kurdish people and all conscientious Turkish people must take to the streets to reject this disgrace and assault on human dignity, and to resist this dirty policy. Reactions should not be limited to condemnation alone, as with other incidents. Society must take a firm stance against this crime."
The statement explained that the brutality inflicted on the body of the 8-year-old Narin is a blow and an assault on human values and dignity, as well as an attack on the body of women and society, describing it as "a great disgrace to society and humanity."
It emphasized that "honoring these children and revealing these crimes is a form of loyalty to the values of society and humanity."
The Kongra Star Council also praised the stance of the people of Amed in its statement: "We commend the stance of our people in Amed. The stance of the people against these dirty practices of the Turkish state in Kurdistan must be a comprehensive societal stance. An honorable city like Amed must rise up against the rapists and killers. After this incident, there should no longer be a place for Erdogan’s mercenaries in Kurdistan. This attack is an assault on the honor of the Kurdish people; it is an attack on our societal values. The people of Amed must rise up against this disgrace carried out by the state's mentality. To prevent these sacred lands from being defiled again, the same lands where gods and goddesses once placed their thrones, and so that our women and children can live freely, the Kurdish people, especially the people of Amed, must take a firm stance and not allow the state to cover up the killers of our children once again."
Eight-year-old Narin Koran disappeared on August 21 in the Juli neighborhood of the Razzan district in Amed. After 19 days of search efforts, her body was found in a bag in the waters of a river in N. Kurdistan.
