Iranian authorities execute 2 Kurdish citizens
Iranian authorities have executed two Kurdish citizens from E. Kurdistan.
Media outlets reported that Iranian authorities executed two citizens, Faizullah Hussein pour, a father of three from the village of "Garakhwal," and Suleiman Qahramani from the village of "Hassan Lolan" in the town of Sa'in Qala, E. Kurdistan, last night.
The Iranian authorities had arrested the two citizens five years ago on separate charges, sentencing them to death, and the sentence was carried out last night, according to media reports.
Many organizations expressed solidarity with the detainees in Iranian state prisons and called for an end to executions. However, despite the pressure, authorities continue to carry out executions under various pretexts.
