Afrin-Shahba Council condemns Turkish attacks, pledges to intensify resistance
The Afrin and Shahba Canton Council condemned the attacks by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries on the Afrin and Shahba Cantons, and pledged to continue their struggle and resistance.
The Afrin and Shahba Canton Council issued a public statement regarding the Turkish occupation state's attacks on the Canton, which was read at the Serdem Camp by council members Nahi Suleiman and Sheilan Sheikho.
In the statement’s introduction, the council condemned the attacks and crimes of the Turkish occupation state, asserting that these attacks would not undermine the people’s resistance.
The statement added: "The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are trying to cover up their defeats on the battlefronts against the Afrin Liberation Forces. They continue their attempts to undermine the resistance and struggle of our people in Afrin and Shahba through various bloody means and committing massacres against civilians." It emphasized that all crimes of the Turkish occupation state are documented.
At the end of the statement, the Afrin Canton Council mentioned that the Turkish occupation state is pursuing a brutal policy against citizens and called for their protection from the attacks and crimes of the occupation state. They pledged to continue their struggle and resistance.
